The North York Temple Band presents an evening of music in the swing/jazz genre. Swing Time will feature the University of Toronto Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Gordon Foote. This top student ensemble will present a wide variety of Jazz styles and is sure to excite. NYTB will bring swing to the sacred side of things with arrangements by Creamer and Mackereth and more. To round out the evening, the bands will perform alongside each other in the classic Salvation Army swing piece by Barrie Gott, “Swingtime Religion”.
