Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre participates in Scotiabank Nuit Blanche
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is excited to be the first Toronto hospital to participate in Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, the all-night contemporary art event celebrating its 10th anniversary in Toronto this October.
The interactive exhibit Surgery will invite the audience to see stunning images from inside our operating rooms then step inside our operating room tent to become the surgeons themselves.
“As a public space that is rarely connected to art and beauty, Sunnybrook looks forward to showcasing the work of two of our staff photographers – who through their lenses, they have captured new life, renewed hope and the innovations and wonders of medicine,” says Craig Duhamel, VP Communications. “We want to give the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche audience a chance to see something that is rarely remembered by even those who experience it: surgery.”
Surgery will feature still images and video by Dale Roddick and Doug Nicholson. The event will take place at the Holland Orthopedic and Arthritic Centre, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
Where: Sunnybrook Holland Orthopaedic & Arthritic Centre
43 Wellesley Street East
When: Dusk Oct. 3 til Dawn Oct. 4. (approx. 7 pm start)
