Join us for the next Sunday Scene with Dr. Brian Levine, a senior scientist at the Rotman Research Institute and Professor of Psychology and Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Levine will lead an exciting conversation inspired by Brenda Draney’s exhibition Drink from the river.

Both Dr. Levine and Draney focus on the reconstruction of memory and the narrative that reconstructing creates. Draney invites viewers to fill in the blanks in her works, and Dr. Levine focuses on how we fill in the blanks in our own memory. The empty space in Draney’s works will be the main theme of this discussion, allowing audiences to think about how we project our own experiences onto the canvas.
