Summerdaze collaborates for the first time with The Blu Party!

The Blu Party is an event concept created by Sydney Blu that has hosted some of the best underground talent in Techno, House, Tech House and Deep House from around the world. Now in it's 7th year, The Blu Party has presented artists such as Pleasurekraft, Riva Starr, Kevin Saunderson, Stacey Pullen, Chus and Ceballos, Carlo Lio, Doorly, Skream, Technasia, Uner, My Favorite Robot, Nathan Barato, Darius Syrossian, Mihalis Safras, Prok & Fitch, Wally Lopez, Joeski, Weiss, Anthony Attalla, The Junkies, Behrouz, Funkagenda, The Scumfrog, Yousef, Joeski, Harry Romero, Gene Farris, The Cocodrills, Christian Martin, Worthy, Dj Sneak and The Saunderson Brothers. After a madly successful inaugural event at Detroit's Movement Weekend last year, several showcases around North America such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto and 7 years of Miami Music Week showcases, the event has once again, returned to Toronto in summer 2017.

Christian Martin:

Christian Martin's love affair with electronic music began in 1995, as an early attendee at Southern California's legendary Moontribe full moon desert parties. After absorbing late 90's club life in New York, London, and Los Angeles, Christian settled in San Francisco in the spring of 2000. He started playing records in 2002 under the tutelage of his brother, Justin Martin, armed with a stack of Justin's old vinyl and used Technics 1200's from Sammy D.

In 2003, inspired by the massive desert soundsystems of old, Christian founded the dirtybird soundsystem. Along with co-founders Justin Martin, Worthy, and Claude VonStroke, dirtybird's Sunday afternoon BBQ's have quickly become a Golden Gate Park institution.

Ardalan:

Range, appeal and a massive dose of nasty, gritty bass are the three chief weapons every Dirtybird artist has in his quiver, but Ardalan seems to be the peak culmination of all those assets in one wieldy point. This young archer has had the incomprehensible luck to fall into crew with his idols, be reared by their best and given some of their most guarded musical secrets, then hoisted to a platform to blare his prodigious beats from places where most creators can only dream of being. Born in Tehran, Iran, Ardalan Noghre-Kar possesses a peculiar, fresh perspective on music genesis without even trying. His mixes, remixes and dubs are known for their sass, energy and wickedly wry samples that snap like a wet towel to the face, but his original tracks are where his efforts shine, like those released with Justin Martin-Mr. Spock, a 2010 party anthem charted by Diplo and Jesse Rose, and Lezgo, charted by Dog Blood Skrillex and Boyz Noise-and those soon-to-be-released on his own EP with Dirtybird. It's no wonder he's been given the nod by everyone from Papa Dirtybird himself Claude Von Stroke and A-Trak to those who are charting his remixes, like Maya Jane Coles, Audiojack, and Riva Starr, the last of whom he has an upcoming remix for to be released on Snatch.

Sydney Blu:

Sydney Blu continues to establish herself as one of the top female producers and DJs in the world. Her passion for success, hit singles on the Beatport charts, extensive global touring, and musical creativity has Sydney at the top of the dance music scene. A true Canadian at heart, Sydney Blu's success has been built-upon numerous hit singles and relentless world touring. In 2009, Sydney Blu founded her very own imprint Blu Music, which has produced several chart-topping singles over the years. Sydney has also released music on some of the most recognized labels in the industry including Mau5trap, Toolroom, Kinetika, The Material Series, VIVa Music and more. Her release 'Give It Up For Me' on Mau5trap Recordings was one of Beatports highest selling songs, making Sydney the first female electronic music producer to ever have a top 10 hit on the website. Sydney's upcoming releases include a brand new signing to Hot Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound, Roger Sanchez's Undr the Rdr, and Joeski's Maya Recordings.
