Storytelling Circle: Tales of Immigration

Join us for an evening of stories told by a multi-generational, multi-cultural line up of some powerhouse tellers.

Toronto is a city of immigrants, and yet there are still many physical and ideological barriers preventing true integration between us all. We tend to cluster in our city, in areas, thoughts, and in habits.

What better way to bridge this and create solidarity and understanding, than to tell our stories and share our experiences? The challenges and successes of my Korean parents may mirror those of your Pakistani, Jamaican, or Peruvian families. Let's find out, shall we?

This is a free, casual evening taking place on the 3rd floor of the Daniels Spectrum building in Regent Park where the Centre for Social Innovation has a home. Bring your own snack, mug for tea, cushion for cuddles, and open heart.

Doors at 5pm, stories will start around 5:45pm. Please do not be late out of respect for tellers and listeners.
