Story Collider Toronto
From heart-breaking to hilarious, The Story Collider show is a live storytelling event featuring stories from people of all walks of life about how science helps us to discover how weird and wonderful it is to exist in this world and be a human. Whether you wear a lab coat or haven’t seen a test tube since grade school, science is shaping all our lives. Join us in Toronto at the Burdock on March 7th for an evening of true, personal stories about times where science caught us off guard, singled us out or didn’t meet expectations.
Join us for a night of true, personal stories about science and dive into moments of comparison, deviation, and setting standards. From measuring ourselves against plants to finding out how far from the norm things really are, these stories explore what it means to measure up—or stand out.
Hosted by Misha Gajewski and Sara Mazrouei. Featuring stories from storyteller and comedian Veronica Antipolo, science communicator and Ontario Science Center programmer Rachel Ward-Maxwell, storyteller and actor Panagiota Vogdou, TMU Associate Professor and chemist Bryan Koivisto, and author, registered dietitian and nutritionist Nazima Qureshi.
