Storm Warning

Scarborough Players presents Storm Warning by Norm Foster.

The setting is a remote beach on Pigeon Lake in September 1953. Lonely, shell-shocked veteran, Jack Forrester lives in Cabin No. 1 of a rustic cabin court. An unexpected late-season guest, Emma Currie rents Cabin No. 3 and turns Jack’s solitude upside down. Emma’s appearance with suitcases, jazz records and amphetamines affronts reserved Jack, who is bewildered by Emma’s racy language and city-girl complaints. Polar opposites, chaos erupts as their opposing worlds collide. Both of these complex characters tackle their demons on their own terms, sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes bittersweet. Enjoy this classic Norm Foster.
