Speed Sisters at Christie Pits Film Festival!
The SPEED SISTERS are an all-female Palestinian auto racing team that competes professionally in the male-dominated West Bank circuit. Canadian-Palestinian filmmaker Amber Fares thrilling documentary traces the triumphs and challenges of these indomitable women. Preceding this evenings screening are two short films that also foreground competitive drive by women in highly physical sports: UNDERDOG and BOXING.
