Sommet/Mandingue/Summit: West African Dance & Drum Festival
Sommet/Mandingue/Summit 5 (Mandingue Summit) is the fifth edition of a three-day multidisciplinary festival celebrating traditional West African arts and culture, and includes both free and ticketed workshops and performances.
This year's activities include:
*Friday, November 8 – Documentary film screening and fireside chat
*Saturday, November 9 – Dance and percussion workshops, sound bath, and evening performance showcase featuring Ngoma, Amadou Kienou, Amara Kante, and Benkadi from Montreal
