Toronto is packed with talented creatives.  Through the lens of gifted Toronto photographer, David Fisher, Soapbox captures the essence of Toronto's thriving Black Creative Community.  This collaboration brings together local artists, chefs, poets, journalists and more as they share intimate thoughts, stories and experiences as artists and as POC.

Soapbox, our 2020 exhibition, was created to offer space for artists of colour to be seen and heard.  Participants share what they are focused on, what they feel is important and what they believe needs to be addressed as artists, entrepreneurs and proud members of the Black Community.   The exhibition features the photography work of David Fisher.  Fisher is the owner of Big Fish Photography and lives his passion by capturing the magic moments in people's lives.   We invite you to join us and acquaint yourself with the people and the inspirational stories of:  Photographer David Fisher, Radio Personality R.Chung, Musician AIZA, Music Director Darryl Joseph-Dennie, Photographer Khary Safari, Art Blogger Glodeane Brown, Visual Artist Ren Thomas, Spoken Word Artist Alyestal, Musician Ethan Young, Spoken Word Artist Soft Honey, Visual Artist Abuk Laul, Visual Artist Richie Bubb, Musician J Neptune, The Heartbreak Chef Jerome Robinson, Curator Trevor Wells, Visual Artist Sheryl Keen.
