Small Cures is an initiative inspired by our friend Kandie Wong after being diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in 2015, she quickly realized it affects every aspect of life — including adding tons of financial stress. Fortunately, Kandie received incredible support from family and friends, and now wishes to help others with similar struggles.

People living with cancer need a cure for lost income because they can’t work, a cure for hospital parking fees, a cure for medications that aren’t covered, a cure for bills that keep piling up, and a cure for worrying about money when they should be focused on getting better. These are the Small Cures, and they make a huge impact.

On Nov 7th we’re taking over the beautiful Burroughes Building at 639 Queen Street West to host the Small Cures Art Show & Auction. We’ve sent 6” x 6” canvases to our favorite artists, and they donated their time and talent to create over 150 small paintings. They’re all original, incredible, and yours for the bidding – with all proceeds going to Wellspring Cancer Support Centre. Please join us from 6pm to 12am. (Auction ends at 10pm.)
