Seniors for Climate rally and event: Later is Too Late!
On Seniors Day, Oct. 1, Toronto will host one of 55 events across the country. People will rally at University and Armoury at 1:30 and then march to the Church of the Holy Trinity, 10 Trinity Sq., to hear David Suzuki, David Phillips and a youth climate activist. They will talk about why there is no time to waste to phase out fossil fuels and move rapidly to renewable energy. Performers include Ken Whiteley, Lillian Allen and the Raging Grannies.
