Sashiko Mending Weekend
Sashiko is a method of visible mending originating in Japan during the Edo period. In this two-part workshop, Allie Davis (they/them) will help you mend a garment of your choosing, while giving you some of the historical and cultural context behind indigo dyeing and sashiko.
After the two sessions, you will have a mended piece of clothing, or the capacity to finish mending yourself!
