Salsa in Toronto Festival

As the largest Latino-themed cultural celebration in Canada, the award-winning TD Salsa in Toronto Festival runs during the month of July and features the annual TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival (July 6 & 7).

What started as a local two-day event ( TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival) in 2005, has grown into a nationally recognized celebration that has attracted hundreds of thousands of salsa lovers from near and far to the streets of mid-town Toronto. The jam-packed calendar of cultural events throughout the city in July includes the TD Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival, the Hispanic Festival Parade, dancing hot spots, dance parties, concerts, Latin Art Exhibitions and FREE dance lessons at various schools across the city.

Featured Event : TD Salsa on St clair

Canada’s favorite Latin street party is back for a 15th straight year to heat up the summer! Transforming a stretch of St. Clair Avenue West (from Winona Dr. to Christie St.) into Canada’s biggest salsa party featuring an international calibre of Latin music, TD Salsa on St Clair features non-stop dancing in the streets, a variety of Latin street food and fun for the entire family!

Enjoy all the tastes, sights and sounds that the festival has to offer with free on-site dance lessons by the city’s top dance schools all day long and live music featuring the best local and international Latin talent.

Festival Parade

The Hispanic Festival Parade celebrates the rich life style and culture that makes up a part of our global Toronto city and GTA. The parade elevates public appreciation and acceptance of Canada's rich multicultural tradition for a continuously growing Spanish speaking community. The parade stretches between St. Clair Ave. West showcasing a parade of folkloric costumes, cultural dance and sounds presented by various Hispanic multicultural groups and communities.

Latin Art Exhibitions

You are invited to Piña Colada, a free art exhibition featuring the work of several local Hispanic visual artists. This exhibition aims to promote, present and elevate public appreciation, understanding and participation in Canada’s rich multicultural traditions.
