Retrospective: An Exhibition by Jogi Makhani
Jogi Makhani defines art as the desire to create, to engage in the labyrinth-like web of our being, to seek solace, a sensibility, a contradiction to the turmoil this world is engulfed in. This exhibit is a collection of works amassed over the past 40 years. Included will be a compilation of drawings, etchings, sculptures and poetry.
Jogi completed a BFA (painting) in Goa, an MFA (printmaking) in Baroda, and studied bronze casting in India. He spent a year at Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Beaux-arts in Paris, France. Opening reception on January 14th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. FREE!
