"Engaging synth-driven rave-ups" - Exclaim
Formerly Light Fires (and before that, Gentleman Reg), Regina Gently is truly one of the city’s unsung superstars. Creator of an utterly classic Toronto electronic pop record as well as a string of amazing music videos, Regina’s been hard at work on new songs and recordings, and one day we’ll get to hear her sure-to-be-brilliant album under the new name. Until then, if you wanna hear these gems, you’ve got to see her live! Prepare for an energetic, funny, and irresistibly danceable performance full of high kicks, deep splits, and Regina’s famously fierce tongue.

// boyBITCH with Precious Jewel
boyBITCH is a slave to beats and ridiculous lyrics, and one of the city’s most powerfully pure vocal talents, known for burning down dancefloors with his impassioned costumed (and de-costumed) house-pop. Precious Jewel (Brandon from Most People) is an experimental deep house producer exploring its strangest, deepest bassy places. Together they form a Voltron most rare and wonderful, and a Voltron that will make you dance with joy.

// Loji
“Smooth-wiggling” - Mechanical Forest Sound
The shadowy synthpop twosome stealthily continue their inevitable ascent as their cutting-edge house-infused dark electronic pop wins over all who dare listen, which happened most recently on a mass scale when they opened for Jessy Lanza at the Wavelength Festival. Smooth, futuristic, and fearlessly inventive pop music.

“80s inspired...nostalgic yet refreshing” - IX Daily
Paris and Montreal’s loss is Toronto’s gain, as AIDA’s catchy-beyond-catchy pure pop hooks and delicious grooves will light any city on fire. She’s got some killer videos, and a wonderful debut EP compiling her various smash singles. Get funked up with her now, because her star has only begun to rise.
