This year, 2019, marks the tenth anniversary of Rakuten Kobo, Canadian-born global eBook retailer. To celebrate a decade of reading, we commissioned Toronto-based fashion and portrait photographer, Ted Belton, to go behind the scenes with 10 of our most devoted readers. In this gallery of intimate portraits, Belton captures the diverse faces of book lovers, commemorating and celebrating lives that have put reading at their core.

At the showing, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the photographer, mingle with Toronto’s top content creators, and enter to win a selection of Kobo gift cards by taking a photo in the gallery’s custom reading nook and sharing it on Instagram, tagging @kobobooks and using the hashtag #thekobolife.
