Public Lecture Series: The Fascinating and Sometimes Scary World of Infectious Diseases
For millennia, infectious diseases have wreaked havoc among humans.
In this series of talks presented by the Faculty of Science at York University in collaboration with the Toronto Public Library, we explore how scientists are tackling these scary bugs.
The series runs from October 1 to November 7 at local library branches and includes the following talks by York University Science professors:

- Oct 25, 7-8 pm at Annette Branch - The Biology of Bloodthirsty Disease Vectors, presented by Prof Jean-Paul Paluzzi
- Nov 7, 7-8 pm at Barbara Frum Branch - Bacterial Nanomachines: The Key to Infection and Resistance, presented by Prof Gerald Audette
