Proud + Funny is comedy’s coming out!

We were SHOOK with the amount of talented queer comedians in Toronto, so it’s time we celebrated them, and what better time than PRIDE MONTH! Proud + Funny is an Official Pride Toronto Community event taking place at the Bad Dog Comedy Theatre (875 Bloor St W). Featuring Improv, Stand up, Sketch Comedy and Drag, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the weekend before the main events of the festival!

Individual tickets are $10.00, with the exception of HOOKUP which is $15.00.

Kinsey Fail is Toronto’s QUEER-centric Improv Ensemble! They take real life stories from a special guest monologist and spin it into QUEER ABSURDITY!

Anders Yates hosts a showcase of some of Toronto’s HOTTEST stand up comedians. Featuring Ashley Cooper, Celeste Jolie-Pitt, Jess Beaulieu, Anasimone George and Brandon Ash-Mohammed

Hookup takes the lives of two strangers from the audience and shows you what it would be like if they hooked up! Fresh off a 20-week sold-out run, HOOKUP is back with an entirely queer cast!

Featuring: Alex Tindal, Anders Yates, Coko Galore, Gavin Crawford, Kirsten Rasmussen, Monica Garrido and Tricia Black

11PM - MATCHMAKER IMPROV MIXER ($10.00)

We close Proud + Funny with our biggest show! Selena Vyle and Candace Meeks act as matchmakers and pair off our gaggle of queer improvisers. Each improviser won’t know who they’re performing with until their names are called. Want more? How about Selena Vyle and Candace Meeks singing queer improvised love songs?!

One part duos + One part Musical Improv = All parts GAY!
