Hot, hot, hot! Luckily we’ve got swaying trees, gentle breezes, cool waters and lasers down at the beach. Come join us.

This Sunday we dive deep into house music. Perfect for getting together for a fun and easy afternoon of sun and friends. Visiting is Brooklyn’s Justin Van Der Volgen. Justin's dirty disco sound has been blowing up our minds recently, so here he is for a special visit for you.

Each week is different, so remember it only happens once.

ESSENTIALS...
It can get chilly after sunset by the lake, bring a comfy sweater. Bring ID for the bar. Liquids, even if sealed, can't be brought inside. Free water beside the bar.

LOCATION…
Getting to Cherry Beach is easier than you may think. There's lots of free parking, TTC goes directly there, so does the bike path, and anchorage for your boat just offshore. Once at the park go east along the bike path or follow the shoreline… you’ll hear the music.

Car - Cherry Beach is at the bottom of Cherry Street, south of Lakeshore Blvd East and Parliament. Free parking in the 4 lots inside the park.

Bike - The best way. Follow the Waterfront Trail. Lock your bike to our surrounding fence, outside or inside.

Boat - The best way, too. As you come ashore you’ll be met by our roaming boat greeters. They’ll help get your contribution and wristbands sorted.

ACCESSIBILITY...
While any beach presents certain challenges, there is firm ground surrounding our dancefloor and onsite accessible washroom. Get in touch beforehand with any specific needs - hi@ilovepromise.com.

WEATHER…
We have a great backup warehouse space standing by. Notice of a move will be posted to our event page by 4pm day before. Check there if any whisper of rain in the forecast.

SAFER SPACE...
Promise Cherry Beach welcomes everyone. Intolerance or harassment is not ok. All of us staff are ready to help. Have each other’s back as a community, we’ve got yours.

PROPS…
Promise works with Humber College’s Event Management Program. Our student interns Peace, Min, Lena, Kate, Anna, Treisha, Janisha, Adrin and Softy are integrally involved in Cherry Beach. Watch the next generation go.

Mountains move slowly and with many hands. Thanks for the untold hours of care which brought Promise Cherry Beach to life through the swipes, types and gripes of Brandon, Mitch, Brooklyn, Chris, Sanj, Andy, Camille and Seb.
