Project Management 101

Please join PMI Toronto’s Government Community for their upcoming event on November 7th to “de-code” project management into plain and simplistic language.

The event, “Project Management 101”, is an opportunity to review the project management cycles and focus on what you need to know to succeed as an effective and valuable project manager in the workplace. You will learn core skills that every Project Manager should master to be contemporary.

Speakers include Makael Kakakhel from Hurontario LRT at Metrolinx, Deidra Murphy from RBC, and Marilyn Spink from Isherwood Geostructural Engineers.

In this session, you’ll learn

• What are the basics principles to being an effective Project Manager?

• What core skills should a Project Manager master to succeed in the real world?

• How can Project Managers apply their PMBOK knowledge in the workplace?

• Which tools, tips and tricks should every Project Manager have and know?

The event is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 9:00 PM in Salon 3, at 20 Toronto Street, Toronto. Food will be provided.
