In honour of International Womxn’s Day, Posi Vibez and Feel Your Fantasy are hosting a celebration of femininity. What does femininity mean to you?! Come help us rescue the construct from the gender binary and celebrate the fact there’s feminine energy in all of us.
We’ll be dusting off our poms poms & screening But I'm a Cheerleader, followed by some rad drag performances by Archie Maples & Dottie Dangerfield! Wanna dance? LL Cool Wei & Vaughan will also be our DJs for the evening making some choice sound selections for us to shake off the patriarchy to.

Inspired by the ultra masc world of fantasy sports, FYF styled our RuPaul’s Drag Race fantasy league as the gender bending bizarro universe version of the fantasy football league your cousin Gary won’t stop talking about. In 2017, we decided to spread our sparkle with the launch of Feel Your Fantasy the zine. Our goal is simple: we’re funnelling our fandom into stories and art about drag. Issue 3 comes with a guide to running your own Dragula league!
Sadly Handlebar is not officially wheelchair accessible, as there is a small lip at the front door (ramp available) but otherwise Handlebar is totally accessible. Feel free to contact POSI VIBEZ if you need any assistance. There are gender neutral washrooms + on the main floor that are wheelchair friendly. All Handlebar staff are trained in dealing with emergency situations, and creating a safe space. We maintain this to the best of our ability, and have a naloxone kit on-site.
