Studio 1558 presents darsbars x Melanie Cheung Studio, a pop-up shop and art show. This event also kicks off the launch of Studio 1558, a rentable creative event space on Queen Street East.

Darsbars - Founded in 2019, owner Daria Muscio uses sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients from all over the world, including organic Lavender essential oil from France, natural clays and minerals from Australia, and raw Shea and cocoa butter from Ghana where the women farmers are paid fair living wages. Her line of products evoke sentimental memories and uplift the senses for an elegant self care experience. All products are hand-made in her Toronto studio.

Melanie Cheung is an abstract artist, originally from Toronto currently based in Hamilton Ontario. Her work, explores themes of human emotion and the invisible aspects of life that shape who we are, using fluid, translucent layers of paint and mixed media. Her work seeks to create harmony between an innate personal struggle between wanting control and leaving things up to chance.
