Join us at Anansis biggest Poetry Bash yet as we kick off our 50th anniversary celebrations and debut our collaborative beer with Henderson Brewing Company. Featuring readings and book-signings from poet and Anansi founder Dennis Lee, as well as Kevin Connolly, Lynn Crosbie, and Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, who will also be performing live acoustic music. Be sure to arrive early to get a free beer in a limited-edition Anansi beer glass! We'll also have all the new titles for sale that night, including limited-edition hardcovers and limited-edition broadsheets available only directly from House of Anansi.

Anansi's Poetry Bash will be hosted by Damian Rogers, author of the memoir An Alphabet for Joanna, forthcoming from Knopf Canada in 2019.

And if you haven't had a chance to explore Anansi's new bookstore, which is located right next to Henderson Brewing Company, you can do so the night of the Poetry Bash! The bookstore will be open from 7:00 - 10:00pm.
