Your favourite community pizza night is back in Christie Pits Park! As always, we’ll have the best pizza and Indian food in the city, free BBQ, beer, wine, fresh juice and giant board games – all in support of The Butterflyway Project.

Enjoy Neapolitan pizza from the fine folks at Pizzeria Libretto, delicious Indian veggies and rice from Banjara Indian Cuisine, cold beer from Steam Whistle Pilsner and cider from Brickworks Ciderhouse, cold-pressed juice from Angie's Juicery, and free grilled Ontario corn from Fiesta Farms.

This month's special guest is Carol Pasternak, The Monarch Butterfly Crusader. Carol is an educator, photographer, and author. Her book How To Raise Monarch Butterflies A Step-by-Step Guide for Kids, has sold 30,000 copies. She will have monarch eggs, caterpillars and chrysalids, as well as other specimens, to show and give away while quantities last. She will be feeding and releasing butterflies. The whole family will be dazzled by the up close and personal look at these incredible creatures. Be sure to bring your camera!

Please note: Only three pizzas can be cooked in the Christie Pits wood oven at once. So pizza wait time can range from 10 minutes to one hour. Good food takes time, we thank you in advance for your patience. Naturally, we recommend you wait in the beer & wine tent.
