Jason Kenemys current music project Induction is an ecstatic-minimalist meditation on consciousness, the self, other and the magic of being alive. He mixes acoustic and electronic sounds, with loops and patterns, to create music that go for the heart from many angles at once. Through this music he asks unanswerable questions about life and lets the music pour into or out of the void.
Jason Kenemy is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator based in Toronto. He lives in Toronto with his wife and 3 children where he teaches music and biology in a public high school in Scarborough.
// Andrew Rasmussen
Andrew Rasmussen is a pianist, composer and sound artist based out of Toronto, Canada.
After completing his conservatory training at age 14 and devoting his teen years to jazz and pop records, Andrew left his tiny hometown in BC to begin a musical journey that would land him international touring gigs as a sideperson for up-and-coming pop and indie rock bands, as well as opportunities to record, produce, and compose for film. Having recently relocated to Toronto, Rasmussen shifts his focus to a debut album to be released in early 2018. His compositions feature a captivating blend of piano improvisation and meticulous sound design, woven together into richly textured sound pieces that vividly portray his experience in city and country.
