The Pendance Film Festival's Opening Night features a lineup of music you won't soon forget. Music Director Walter Noseworthy is bringing 4 top emerging Canadian Bands & Musicians to Velvet Underground.

CJ Flemings | Named Apple Music Canada's Artist of the Week in December, this Montreal-based rapper has a smooth style that may remind you of another Canadian rapper who took the world by storm. With singles like Acquainted, and Judgement, CJ is rapping about a story- his story.

Michaela May | Not enough words for this talented singer who was most recently featured on Kim's Convenience. Hit singles like 1954 and Lights Out have played world-over. It's time to see her live.

Lastli | The pride of St. Catherines Ontario, Lastli is a discovery for us. They blew our music director Walt away when they opened for Navigate the Sky alongside the band he was actually scouting (Courage my Love), and he's been in love with their music and general vibe ever since.

Surprise Performance | We can't tell you who our fourth act is due to a radius clause and we're happy to leave them a mystery. But you'll just have to trust us when we tell you that IF you're into Canadian Alternative Rock, you're going to be so so pissed if you miss them.
