Cindi Emond’s solo photography exhibition at the Donna Child Fine Art Gallery, 365 Evans Ave, Etobicoke, is part of the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, May 2-31. This is a four part series exploring extinguishing cultural arts in Italy, some of which are recognized by UNESCO. Emond feels there is a fundamental need to protect and document these fragile cultural arts which form the foundation of our collective historical past and national identity.
