Toronto Artist Zara Diniz to be featured in new solo show at Hotel Ocho

Show to document the evolution of the artist’s painting technique from 2008 to the present

Showcasing works like Circa Diem (2012), Sonic Wave (2012), I left my heart in Brazil (2013), and Pheonix (2013), Paradiso will document the progression of Zara’s current techniques, from its beginnings as an exploration of colour and surface, to its current manifestation as a means of developing colourful layers that, when combined, create recognizable forms and images out of otherwise abstract forms.

Paradiso runs from December 1, 2013 to February 28, 2014 at Hotel Ocho (195 Spadina Ave., Toronto). A reception will be held January 18, 2014, from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. RSVP at info@zaradiniz.com if you are interested in attending.
