This two part workshop will cover the basics of wood carving as you customize your own Walnut Opinel folding stainless steel knife. Create a design or carve it to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. Learn how to choose the right hand tool, understand wood grain and finish your piece with your own custom design.

Session 1 (Apr 16 6:30-9:30): designing and carving shape

Session 2 (Apr 23 6:30-8:30): sanding and finishing
