Open Roof Festival: Isle of Dogs with Goosebump
On August 15, Toronto-based art-pop band Goosebump enhances the evening's summer vibes with their cool sounds, followed by a screening of cult director Wes Anderson's latest stop motion masterpiece, the Japan-set, canine-infused ISLE OF DOGS.
When all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, 12-year-old Atari sets off alone in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
Featuring the voice talents of Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Scarlett Johansson, Greta Gerwig, Edward Norton, and more, "Wes Anderson’s joyous stop-motion feature looks and sounds like nothing we’ve encountered before." (Joe Morgenstern, Wall Street Journal)
