This past August, OE went to Montreal to host one of Brooklyn’s best, AKUA, for an all night DIY rave alongside Vault during MUTEK weekend. That dancefloor was intense and sincerely satisfying. Back home in Brooklyn, Akua's been spreading the gospel of Midwest rave at Unter, Technofeminism, and her own monthly, School of Hard Trax. This work led Akua to a big year end, joining the Discwoman roster and putting out a masterful mix that was featured in Resident Advisor’s Best Mixes of 2018 round up.
Now, it’s finally time for her to bring Toronto dancers through her signature wormhole of wonky acid techno, dizzying hardcore, and heaven-sent trance.

KTANA’s sets bring a mutinous atmosphere to the club. As a DJ, she holds no genre sacred. KTANA works it out through techno, fresh drum & bass, Florida breaks, and smoked out club edits. She brings this same punk bootleg attitude to her work as a producer as well, and it rules.
