No Toner: Book Launch and Party Screening
Not for the squeamish! On Thursday, December 1st Eyesore Cinema and No Toner team up for a pre- Christmas extravaganza featuring a screening of Paul Bartel’s batshit crazy 1972 psycho sexual day dream Private Parts (not to be confused with that masturbatory Howard Stern flick). If you haven’t had a chance to pick up your copy of No Toner: Trash Culture Zines of the Eighties and Nineties yet it will be available for sale and each copy will come with your choice of a vintage trash zine while supplies last. See you there!
Private Parts, 1972, directed by Paul Bartel (Death Race 2000, Eating Raoul). Starring Ayn Ruymen, Lucille Benson, John Ventantonio, and poor old Stanley Livingston from My Three Sons as “Jeff”.
No Toner: Trash Culture Zines of the Eighties and Nineties is a visual dumpster dive published by Impulse (b) Books and Midnight Mass Press featuring 155 oversized colour and B&W pages featuring the best of horror, gore, sleaze, gender terrorist, homocore zines and related ephemera.
$5 for the movie only or free with the purchase of a copy of No Toner.
