Kat Estacio 10pm

Kat Estacio is a leading figure among a number of young Pinay artists presently exploring the intersection between the classical gong music of Philippines (kulintang) and various forms of experimentalism.

Estacio is a member of celebrated Toronto kulintang ensemble Pantayo but also performs and records on her own crafting intimate and immersive musical spaces that blend the distinct timbre of traditional metallophones with various synthetic textures.

Homura 9pm

This spacier "power ambient acid kosmische" is the new moniker for St. Louis, Missouri native and recent Ontario arrival Jon Burkhart. Jon has previously recorded as Hylidae with releases on Dismal Niche Tapes and Night People Records, as well as an improvised collaborative album self-released on Bandcamp.

The one-man project is a concoction of 60s academic synthesizer composition, the kraut-sans-rock work of Harmonia, Conrad Schnitzler, and Harald Grosskopf, and the accessibility of Berlin School electronica. He will be teaming up with Blake Butler aka Blank Thomas, who will be creating visuals for this show!
