// Nick Doneff
Since moving to Prince Edward Island in 2013, Ontario native Nick Doneff has become a staple in the Charlottetown music scene. The recipient of Music PEIs 2017 Musician of the Year award, Doneff has become a popular sideman with island favourites such as Nudie and Liam Corcoran. After the release of his full-length debut in December of 2016, Doneff has also been quickly emerging under his own name. His earnest songs, old soul presence, and intricate guitar playing have earned glowing reviews; and his song, Old Dog, was featured on CBCs flagship arts & culture program, Q, within days of its release.
// Rob McLaren
After years of touring, recording and sitting in with a myriad of Toronto folk musicians, Rob McLaren is appointing himself leader of a musical project for the first time. A veteran of folk-rockers Union Duke and folk-grassers The Barrel Boys, Rob has spent years secretly plotting the release of Rob McLaren II, the first full-length album of original material from the multi-instrumentalist. The LP is the product of several years honing his songwriting chops and seeking new outlets for ideas and musical experiments.
