Myth, Perception, and Exploration - Scratchboard Portraits of Animals by Nathan Cole

A new exhibition from Nathan Cole opens January 26th at Baka Gallery, in Bloor West Village, Toronto, with a reception from 6-9pm that evening. The exhibition features thirteen of his wildlife scratchboard portraits and is on display until February 29th. The painstaking and slow process of creating the art is echoed by the careful approach that must be taken for examining some of the myths and perceptions of these animals and how that may affect conservation efforts. Admission is free.
