Anthony D'Alessandro Trio featuring Chase Sanborn

Fresh off winning the 2018 Jazz Sudbury Festival's Emerging Artist Showcase, opening for the great Molly Johnson, and appearing at numerous jazz festivals across Ontario, the Anthony D'Alessandro Trio is thrilled to be sharing the stage with their former teacher and jazz luminary - Chase Sanborn. Sanborn's experience is drawn from a four-decade long career in the music industry including international tours, performances alongside Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and Diana Krall, and more than twenty years as an Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Toronto. Their Music Mondays performance will feature swinging arrangements, new compositions and classic jazz standards. Admission: PWYC, suggested donation $10.
