MomenTO: Canada on Screen
A special Canada 150 series of free outdoor film screenings is coming to a park near you! These memorable summer evenings feature pre-show activities, guests, and moving-image works from Canada on Screen, TIFF’s signature Canada 150 program. Learn about Toronto’s connections to some of Canada’s best feature films, shorts, and television series. Come celebrate Canada 150 with your friends and neighbours and enjoy some amazing Canadian films under the stars! Canada on Screen in the Park is presented in partnership with TIFF and Park People.
Selected through a national poll of Industry professionals, TIFF’s Canada on Screen program showcases the best of Canada’s moving image heritage. MomenTO’s compilation of works from Canada on Screen features some of the most beloved Canadian animated shorts, along with an episode from the shot-in-Toronto TV drama series, Degrassi Junior High, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year!
