Mindful Meditation for Men

Mindfulness Meditation is back! Join us for an 8 week session, every Sunday 1:00-3:00 PM, starting Sunday, May 15th, 2016. Meditation takes place at the Canadian Centre for Men and Families.

This mindfulness meditation course is open to everyone. Beginners are welcome, and those with experience are also encouraged to join us to develop new meditation skills. Our mindfulness program is a great compliment to the other men’s health programs and services we provide.

Meditation can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including pain management, emotional regulation or simply to be calmer. Traditionally, mindfulness meditation was used to open the heart and mind and to provide insight and understanding.

Mindfulness Meditation is provided by Lawrence Rothman. Lawrence is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and mindfulness group facilitator.
