As a professional musician for over 25 years Michael Keith has worked in most areas of popular blues and rock music as a performer, composer and teacher. Michael’s drive to reinvent and expand his expressive vocabulary has led him to private studies in traditional Chinese and Persian music, which have given him many opportunities to collaborate with artists far beyond his blues and rock foundations.

More recently, he has worked in the area of free improvisation and toured and recorded with some of the top practitioners of this genre. Michael has appeared on dozens of released recordings and has been featured in concert at music festivals in Canada, France, Italy and Taiwan.

Michael Keith’s current work finds him in a more traditional format while fusing all of his influences and life experiences. That of a singer/songwriter/guitarist.

Michael’s music is uniquely identified by his genuinely global conception of the contemporary musician.
