Megan Lane launches Sounding the Animal
Megan Lane combines a club-friendly indie pop sound – courtesy of producer Hawksley Workman – with guitar goddess-like skills on the axe and songs that speak to our most primal relationship with the natural world. Her driving beats, seductive, rock n’ roll vocals, and relentlessly catchy melodies are showcased on her first single “Someday We will Leave this Town,” an anthem for rural small-town queers co-writen with Rae Spoon.
