Join us for an evening film screening and talk with filmmaker Alicia K. Harris. Collectively, her films have been screened at numerous festivals, most notably the Toronto International Film Festival. She is best known for her short film PICK, which won Best Live Action Short at the 2020 Canadian Screen Awards and Best Short Film at the Miami Film Festival. Alicia directed the documentary campaign “Love Scarborough” for Scarborough Health Network. She works in many mediums, and has directed music videos for Grammy-winning artist Koffee, and branded work for LUSH and Adidas. Alicia is dedicated to celebrating the Black experience in her work, with a focus on beauty, spirituality and vulnerability.
