Make the Aga Khan Museum an essential destination this March Break featuring hands-on, family-friendly programming all week long. Be among the first to enjoy the special exhibition The World of the Fatimids (opening March 10), which bears witness to a remarkable dynasty, and engage with sight, sound, and interactive displays in the installation Listening to Art, Seeing Music.

Activities are free with Museum admission March 10 to 18:

Hands-On Educational Activities (Daily, 12–4 pm): Drop in for free hands-on activities in the Museum’s Education Centre. Explore the Silk Routes, talk to Museum experts, and enjoy art activities inspired by the special exhibition The World of the Fatimids.

Storytelling in a Mongolian Yurt (Daily, 12:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm): Enjoy free pop-up storytelling sessions in the transformative setting of a traditional Mongolian yurt. Popular storytellers include Sarah Abušarar, Anne Lederman, Chris Rawlings, Aaron Bell, and Mariella Bertelli.

Pop-Up Performances (Saturday and Sunday, 12 pm, 1 pm, 3 pm and Wednesday, 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm): Look and listen for free pop-up performances of world music in surprising spaces throughout the Museum.

Village Rockstars Screening (Wednesday, March 14, 6:30 pm): Enjoy a free screening of Village Rockstars (Rima Das, 2017, 87 min., PG), an uplifting documentary following a 10-year-old girl from a remote village in northeast India as she pursues her dreams of owning a guitar and forming a rock band. Presented in Assamese with English subtitles.
