What’s not to love about baking, cookie cups right? We thought, why not try to figure out a fun way to get into the kitchen with the kiddos over March break? And voila, here's The Magpie Cakery's Intensive March Break BAKING CAMP for 9-year-olds and over for some delicious, hands-on baking lessons and a whole lot of fun!
The Kids will most definitely love customizing their favourite cookie recipe with ice cream, whipped cream, buttercream, or pastry cream and top them with salted caramel, chocolate ganache, fruit, nuts, and chocolate chips...the world really is your Cookie Cup Oyster!
Some of The Magpie Cakery’s favourite Cookie Cup recipes include Apple Pie Cookie Cups (browed-butter oatmeal cookie vessel, filled with apple pie filling and topped with salted caramel), Brownie Extravaganza Cookie Cups (brownie cookie vessel, filled with chocolate buttercream and topped with chocolate ganache), Lemon Meringue Cookie Cups (lemon sugar cookie vessel, filled with lemon curd and topped with marshmallow fluff) and S’mores Cookie Cups (graham cracker cookie vessel, filled with whipped chocolate ganache and marshmallow fluff and topped with chocolate ganache).
