Adult Program

Mandarin is an essential asset in today’s society especially for business, travel, and studying abroad in China. With 5 years of teaching experience at a University and a Master’s degree in Chinese, the teacher can confidently bring your Mandarin skills to a proficient level. Lots of people think that learning Mandarin is difficult but we think it is easier than any other language. Based on our experience we are confident that students after 3 months will be able to communicate effectively in Chinese.

What makes us different?

Since our teacher learned Chinese as a second language, he knows ways in which non-native speakers should learn Mandarin.

The classes will be using modern Chinese books as well as focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening using the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method.

The focus of this method is to enable the learner to communicate effectively and appropriately in the various situations she would be likely to find herself in. The content of CLT courses are functions such as inviting, suggesting, complaining or notions such as the expression of time, quantity, and location.
