Mammoth SUP, Surfski, Windsurf and Wing Foil Marathon Races around Toronto Islands

Overview: Get ready for an action-packed weekend at the Mammoth Marathon! Calling all fun and adventure seekers, this is the event features a range of exciting water races around Toronto Island and the Outer Harbour. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or a newcomer, join us for a memorable experience filled with competition and scenic views.
Event Schedule:
Saturday, September 21, 2024: Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) and Surf Ski Races
8:30 am: Check-in and race bib distribution
9:30 am: Racers' meeting for course and safety briefings
10:00 am: SUP Long Course (14.4 km) around Toronto Island*
11:00 am: SUP Medium Course (7 km) (minimum 4 racers)
12:00 pm: SUP Short Course (Kids 12 and under)
12:30 pm: Lunch
1:00 pm: Awards and prize draws
Sunday, September 22, 2024: Windsurf, Windfoil, and Wingfoil Races
9:00 am: Check-in and race bib distribution
10:00 am: Racers' meeting for course and safety briefings
11:00 am: Medium and Long Course (14.4 km) around Toronto Island*
11:30 am: Short Course / LTW Student Course** (~1 hour)
1:00 pm: Lunch
2:00 pm: Awards and prize draws
Registration:
2-Day Participation: $85 CAD (advance) / $95 CAD (thereafter)
Adult (18+): $60 CAD (advance) / $65 CAD (thereafter)
Youth (17 & under): $30 CAD
Lunch Only: $25 CAD
*Advance registration is open until 5:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2024. Onsite registration will be available.
Special Competitions:
Super Mammoth Winner: For racers completing both the SUP and windsurf races, cumulative times will be calculated and ranked.
Safety Requirements:
Mandatory Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) and whistles for all participants.
Leashes required for SUP, surfski, and wing foil.
Course Information:
Long Course: 14.4 km from Outer Harbour, around Toronto Island (subject to weather conditions; participants must avoid the "Keep Out Zone" near the island airport) and back to Outer Harbour.
Medium Course: 5-7 km within the Outer Harbour.
Short Course: For beginners, SUP kids (12 and under), and LTW participants in the Stay Hooked windsurf program.
Additional Information:
All participants must check in to receive their race bibs.
Lunch is included with registration. Extra lunch tickets can be purchased for supporters.
