Comedy Nuggets presents Luke Lynndale Does Your Jokes: Rinse & Repeat Comedy.

For the first week of the year Comedy Bar devotes its stages to free “tryouts” of new and strange concept shows, for the Festival of New Formats. Each night has multiple sketch, stand-up, and improv showcases, that are, again, all free.

Luke Lynndale Does Your Jokes: Rinse & Repeat Comedy, stand-ups, and sketch will perform, then Luke Lynndale follows them and attempts to recreate by himself their performance. It's a wonderful mess with many talented comedians performing.

Luke is a stand-up comic, improvisor, actor and writer. He is a graduate of The Second City Sketch Program, Montreal School of Performing Arts, co-founder of critically acclaimed improv duo, DUO DAD, and founding member of Shakespeare improv troupe, We Happy Few. Luke's acting credits include Betrayal (Montreal School of Performing Arts), and Arsenic and Old Lace (Village Players). He has performed in Comedy Brawl (2017, 2018), Comedian of the North (2019), the Boston Improv Festival (2018), Big City Improv Festival (2013, 2017), World’s Biggest Improv Festival (2016, 2017, 2018), and Best of Toronto Sketch (2018).

WHERE IS COMEDY BAR LOCATED

Comedy Bar is located at 945 Bloor West between Ossington and Dovercourt on the south side. (directly across from the Delaware exit of the Ossington TTC)

ABOUT COMEDY BAR

Comedy Bar is a basement venue with 16 steps to the entrance. Washrooms are located on the main floor of the venue.

There are two theatre spaces. Please be sure to confirm which theatre you should be in when you pick up your ticket at box office.

Seating is general admission. Please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of show start time to be sure you get the seats(s) of your choice.

Comedy Bar does not guarantee group seating and is not responsible for holding seats for parties that do not arrive before show start.

All ticket prices include HST unless otherwise stated

Performers use microphones.

The use of smoke machines and strobe, flashing lights or lasers may occur during performances.
