About the Activity Book

The MAJO Ideas VOL ① — COLOR activity book is for everyone (4-122+), it's filled with creative prompts and exercises that encourages you to think outside the box and explore colour in new ways. This book is inspired by the vibrant works of renowned artists Carmen Herrera and Nubia Navarro. Herrera is known for her bold geometric shapes and striking color palettes, while Navarro focuses on playful forms and vivid hues. Together, their artistic influences create a rich foundation for the activities in this book.

The MAJO Ideas series was created by two design-obsessed mamas who love making art with their kids. San Francisco-based Ligaya Tichy and New Yorker Alex Aranda. They came together to create a series of inventive, sticker-based art kits, each inspired by a diverse mix of professional artists.
