The 7th Toronto-Qinhuai Lantern Festival, organized by Ontario-Jiangsu Friendship Association will be held on Family Day - Monday, February 18th, 2019 at 1500 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON, M1P 2G5, to Celebrate Family Day & the Lunar New Year of the Pig. The Festival will present 23 sets of large handmade Qinhuai lanterns and show hundreds of handmade medium & small size Qinhuai lanterns, which are part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of China, a popular traditional handmade folk art for over 2,000 years. The attendees will enjoy Lights-up Ceremony, Lion Dance, and Chinese arts performance, experience traditional Chinese festival activities, taste Delicious Qinhuai snacks, and win hundreds of prizes.
