The Etobicoke Quilters Guild is offering a class for beginners. In this class, you will learn a little about fabric and colour theory, how to cut and piece your quilt top, how to layer a quilt in preparation for quilting, and how to quilt your masterpiece by hand. The instructor is Adele Gataveckas, who is very experienced at both quilting and teaching.

Fees are $155 for non-guild members/$130 for guild members

(includes in class use of guild equipment and batting)

+ $10 fee paid to instructor on first night for instruction/pattern book.

Participants may purchase fabric of their own choice or buy a kit for $15 (not as shown.)

It is preferable to have your own sewing machine to be able to work between classes; however, a limited number of machines are available to rent for in class use for an additional $30 for all 8 sessions.
